Excellent video overview. On my short list. You might want to use an ND filter for you camera when you shoot outside (poor exposure - you remembered sunglasses for your eyes! Don't forget your camera)

I've been looking for a heavy duty, taller tripod. been using $2-300 travel tripods but I think I'm ready to invest into something bit higher tier. I was looking at the Really Right Stuff and Gitzo. I think maybe this Robus will be a good choice along with a RRS ball head. Looks to offer everything RRS and Gitzo offers but half the price.

Rather than commenting on the tripod, I'd like to comment on how flashy the shirt it, trippy and alternating patterns, thanks camera!
Anyway, this tripod looks suspiciously similar to the Leofoto LN364C, which is now discontinued.
The size of the bowl, being 75mm the openings of 25-55-85, the 10-layer carbon fibre. Even the centre column has the exact same design, and the same extension, the same features.
So yeah, I'm pretty sure this Robus is just the Leofoto LN364C, which is ￥3480 = $506, at $599, it's a winner! The LN364C which I've handled is great, rock solid, and sturdy. It's only $93 above the Leofoto, it's a winner, it costs more to ship the Leofoto from China. Leofoto is a vertically integrated manufacturer who also offers their products as "reskins". I personally use the LS365C with a geared head, it fits in my backpack. I'll put links to the LN364C in another comment.

I'm seriously thinking about getting this for wildlife and action, rather than spending 1k on a set of RRS or Gitzo legs. Seems like it will be just as sturdy and dampen just as much vibration. Unfortunately, I just can't seem to find anyone who's tried to use it for shooting wildlife with a 400mm+ lens

How is a RC 5570 version ? Will it be good enough for Nikon 600mm F4 ?

I checked price and it’s (obviously) premium. For full info disclosure, I would have mentioned it. May I ask to give metric system info at each quote of size and weight? Sometimes you forget and it’s time lost for calculation while video keeps on going.
