As a lifetime Houstonian, I love this place! This is high end quality cafeteria food and worth the splurge. My husband loves it even more now that he can enjoy a glass of wine with his meal. Everyone one is so friendly. I was so happy the family continued the family legendary business after the fire.

Cafeterias are endangered in the United States, slowly being replaced by unremarkable but quick and easy fast food. I'm glad we still have two in my hometown but the clientel is aging.

I'm sorry but i went here because all the hype. They give you big portions but the food is so bland and flavorless. Piccadilly and Lubys is so much better.
