I usually turn bloom down as soon as I can in a game because for some reason in 95% of games the bloom is so high every light is blindingly bright.

Bloom is actually fairly well balanced in HSR. I’ve played games where the bloom makes certain sequences unplayable.

Also, bloom or no bloom, people should be playing games with good lighting. Your eyes will thank you when you can still see in your midlife years.

Bloom in Genshin also makes a huge difference. it gives the characters, environment, and effects radiance.

Thank you for this. I've no idea about a lot of the graphic settings. Like environment and shadow sure, but I'd no idea wtf bloom did or anti-aliasing. So this pretty cool

Bloom allows the colors and other effects to pop and give the player more dopamine when watching the ultimates.

From my experience, if you want more frame rate but dont want your graphics and visuals to look worse, just go to settings and put light quality on very low.
It makes the game look a bit darker but most of the time you wont notice it. But you will notice it if you are in the underground.
Putting it to very low really makes a huge difference.

Bloom ensures that effects that should glow some sort of radiant or otherwise dynamic light, do so. It is often the one setting next to settings like Motion Blur or Chromatic Abberation that, unlike those two, should remain on.

The resolution quality setting makes the biggest difference, on higher end PC it default to 1.4, that's like 1.4x resolution, draws a lot more power from your gpu, lowering it to 1.0 uses lot less power and I think that's native resolution anyway
