I purchased the cable reel flat car and the cattle wagon off of someone on Ebay since I like them too and they are now running with my Mearsk diesel on my old gray track and looks very nice.  Also i am using my #7823 Container Crane Depot set from 1986 for the unloading of the cable reels and it works!  You should see for yourself.

I bought this when it came out. The locomotive is a great gp38 gp40 type diesel but the freight trucks aren’t the best and the crane gantry is really loose. Farmer chris really enjoying the company of that cow and ihazabucket

Also the blue forklift from my #7722 Steam Cargo Train Set from 1985 would work well with the cargo train from you blue cargo train too.

I kind of wanted it to have a blue batterybox when i saw the first pictures of the set... I really like the blue locomotive color. Also things that look nice are the forklift, the really-nice-green wheelbarrow and the octan tank (it looks really "realistic", perfect for gas-station moc or something). When i saw the first pictures i thought the cable drums looked cool but they dont seem that nice now... And i dont like the cattle car and cow (looks "cheap", like lego just had to include something to add a bit more play value... just as the crane and office, extremely simple..

Great video.  It would be nice to hear your ideas  in the videos about the trains from 2010-2015 or even the last 3-4 sets.  Perhaps where you see Lego going or which is your favorite of the years etc.  What you liked in one set you would have liked in this set etc : ).  I think that would be also interesting to hear.

5 555 views a day,   squee.  I recon this will be a keeper,   blue  base,   I might  even get it. .. the green circle plate, just like the  star wars pod racer, and  a  lime  green wheel barrow,   that  will be in Friends sets I guess

I think you got this at ToysRUs.  Went there today to follow your lead.  Love this set and was going to get it.  My ToysRUs has no trains.  So I came home with Benny's spaceship instead.
