The lighting in 2015 was absolutely what sealed the deal for me. The textures, physics, model detail, etc has all arguably gotten better, but the lighting has never hit the bar that 2015 set. It was as close to perfect as any game has ever been

And to mention also that 2015 NFS was the last one to have the "mythical" Toyota Supra and it's soundtrack was definitely the last time we've heard something that remotely resembles past NFS games soundtracks (It actually have some of those past soundtracks).
Whether people hate or love it... Ghost made a love letter the best way they could or knew how back then to nighttime street racing need for speeds with NFS 2015...the same way they've done with NFS Rivals being a love letter to prior NFS with super and exotic cars only!

Tbh nfs 2015 has graphics WAY ahead of its time, i think its the best looking racing game i have ever seen, also super optimized! Nvidia 660 gtx can run it at 60 fps easily
