I always thought it was weird that Americans would literally drive two miles to work instead of just walking - and then I discovered that you don't have pavements/pedestrian-safe routes in some areas and you can't really walk along the main road. Crazy!

I hate those American "Ask your doctor" drug ads. Hate hate HATE!! In fact, all modern American commercials make me so furious I hardly watch TV anymore. At least I can block ads on YouTube.

I remember some bosnian kids, refugees in the 90s, asking what the loud noise outside waa during the fall one year. It was cicadas. Theyd never heard anything like it. And i get it, the first time i remember hearing it i had questions lol one thing that also broke my heart is when somebody from like the middle east would say they loved how peaceful our country was inside its own borders. there's a few things that i find weird about america:

playing the national anthem at sporting events. is it considered less patriotic if you never played the anthem before a sporting event transpires?

toilet stalls. why is there a gap in the door?

the healthcare system. isn't it strange how america is the richest country in the world yet it can't use public healthcare?

4:13 LOL I live near Quebec and a Rez, and they got a casino near a pitstop with a Subway and a game where about every hour you can get a card, put down some numbers on a card, and watch a TV to see if you get some money based on what numbers you got right. Almost bingo like.
