Takes MUCH longer than a simple check mark on the old paper charting assessments. A separate note for EVERYTHING we do

Nightingale wouldn’t have had problems with any of these things—well maybe joint commission because even though she was an excellent administrator, she hated it when bureaucrats couldn’t get things done. What would have bothered her? Working conditions that make it impossible for nurses to adequately care for patients.

Joint commission puts me into a coma once a year but what’s wrong with hourly rounding?? I miss the days when it was q 2 hrs. I think the excessive and mostly redundant paperwork would put her into a coma. Or probably our current responsibilities and acuity of the patients we take on. Nursing isn’t bed baths and fetching water these days

She would love electric beds! And I think she would appreciate AMA forms, she would understand that there are other patients that really need to be taken care of if others don't wanna be there 🤷🏻‍♀️

Educators who dont really educate. They read stuff from a bookand tell you. But you have to have a MASTERS and no actualy experience to do that job
