Sex is complicated for different reasons in different cultures. But, it's the entire purpose of life, so there's no reason to blush. In this episode of Crash Course Psychology, Hank talks about Kinsey, Masters and Johnson, Sexuality, Gender Identity, and Hormones, and even looks into the idea of why we have sex. There's a lot to go through here.

i never understood why people always whispered the word sex and were always ashamed about it like NO ONE would be here without it its completely normal and natural

it's crazy how horrible a lot of sex ed is (especially vis-à-vis the lgbtq+ community) and yet this 10 minute video is more informative than most schools are.

"Sexual orientation is neither chosen nor changed." Wouldn't it be so nice if more humans could accept that simple fact. :)

I find it really sad that there are a lot of people in the comments being impressed over him mentioning asexuality. Just goes to show how exclusive sex-ed can often be. I was actually shocked when I found out that in the USA not all schools even cover it aside from "don't do it". In the class I was in we were merely shown a lot of educational films from the 80s that obviously didn't cover a lot either.

I’m literally crying bc this video is from 5 years ago and this is still so relevant and this video can educate so many people if this was just shared. Between showing sexuality, sexual identity/orientation, gender identity, this video makes me so happy.

I’m so glad asexuality was mentioned in a good way not “it’s a mental disorder” I was a little worried about thatXD

This should be shown in every health class.
I'm serious 😂
It's minimally awkward, super informational, and quick 👌

I'm really pleasantly surprised that you included asexuality in here!
I'm even more surprised at all the people in the comments saying they're not sexually attracted to anyone, and people *informing* them about asexuality!
That's really cool! Thanks for the visibility boost and not excluding us.
