Why is it taking so long? I've seen cops raid a house for suspected crimes, never mind actual crimes.

Meanwhile there are people doing 30 years in prison for possession of marijuana

Amazing how someone who shot their neighbor and even with a history and criminal background he hasn’t been arrested but yet arrest someone who has done even less then that

BREAKING NEWS !! BREAKING NEWS !!

A man shoots a neighbor while he's working in his yard and the police won't arrest him because they say he's crazy...

Since when is being too scared an excuse to leave an attempted murder at large? You guys have weapons, armor, attack dogs, explosives, and helicopters. Why are taxpayers paying for all of these things if you can't find the courage to use them? Disgraceful.

“Working on arresting..” Wtf. Cops break into the wrong house faster and with less thought.

He shot his neighbor - escalation warranted.

That Chief cared more about the safety of the shooter than the man he shot.

I live a block away and tonight I heard the police announcement. WTF!??? Storm in there and disable this lunatic. This is ridiculous. He should’ve never been left at home after the victim was shot. Minneapolis has failed all of its citizens. It keeps doing so day after day. Just sheer incompetence. Imagine how the terrified victim feels. This is ridiculous.

Prime example of a racist system. The mayor is the main problem.

He is not a Police Chief, he's definitely in the wrong line of work! Never seen a more cowardly Police Chief in my life. "I wanted to wait until we can arrest him safely" He allowed the career violent criminal to remain free after shooting a unarmed man. The victim CAN'T EVEN GO HOME HOME because police are refusing to do their job which is ridiculous! That means the neighbors are not safe, or anyone near this maniac is safe!
99.9% of the other Police departments in the country, along with theiur SWAT teams would have been at this guys house within an hour of the shooting.

FOUR DAYS??? FOUR DAYS!!! And a man that attempted to murder his neighbour, sits in his home watching the news about him comfy and cozy!
When people say America is tough on crime, especially Neighbours vs neighbour, I’ll point this out how cowardly people really are, especially police.

Failed the victim? That department failed the badge, community, State of Minnesota, and the U.S. Constitution. I wouldn't want to live in that community.

My only question for the cops is, " are you too cowardly or too racist to do your job?"

This is insanely stupid. I've seen how other police departments handle this sort of thing -- they send in the SWAT team and take the crazy shooter one way or another. What in the ever loving fuck is this PD doing?

Just a black guy that got shot. Police don't see a need to hurry here.
