I got banned from eBay for life as well! As a seller. They deemed me high risk because I sold iPhones specifically. I showed them proof of purchase and everything. Crazy. I was so upset that day 😂

You're not selling the car so much as yourself. People buy cars from people they like. You have to have that pleasant talk show down to earth likeable trusting personality who shows compassion for the customers best interests. Make the friend then serve their automotive needs with sincere integrity and Do Not forget to contact them at regular intervals after the sale if you intend to get friends and family referrals and future sales when their buying cycles roll over like an odometer. Literally. Let's go troop. This ain't no disco !!!

I got temporarily banned in the early 2010s selling Bitcoin mining ASICs when they first hit the market. One of my ASICs was broken by the customer, although they claimed it was done in shipping. One of the internal fans was broken off the spindle somehow from inside a metal ensclosure. It was insured but the customer sent it through the mail and I had to issue a refund per Paypal's ToS. I don't sell on eBay anymore even though I can. but I made a few calls to some friends and gave them the address. I did end up getting the money. But unless you're half Russian, half Irish, and have trained to fight in the octagon since 4, you probably don't have that luxury 😁

Got a couple sellers kicked off ebay in 2000 because they would list cars on ebay penny start no reserve. Win a car for 500 bucks or a grand and they wouldn't actually sell it to you.

Why does everyone have an eBay ban story. At the time, I lost around 80% of my income when I got banned. Making $1000 profit per day, in high school, working a minimum wage job was a crazy time in my life.
