Im a software engineer and dabbled in UI design and this is by far the most over-complicated and user-unfriendly system I’ve ever seen lol

Amazing video. Very informative, saved my life. I've been trying to figure out my thermostat for the past 4 weeks of living in this sequestering apartment and this video saved me from the heat. Bless you and your family. Godspeed

I hate this thermostat. It's 34C outside right now and I have it set to cold but it's sitting at 83F. I will die of heat exhaustion soon. Loved the old ones. Just turn the dial to the temp you wanted

Press HOLD to permanently adjust
the temperature. This will override the temperature settings for all time periods.
The “Hold” feature turns off the program schedule and allows you to adjust the thermostat manually, as needed.
Whatever temperature you set will be maintained 24 hours a day, until you manually change it, or press RUN to cancel “Hold” and resume the program schedule.
Note: Make sure the thermostat is set to the system you want to control (heat or cool)” so if you wanna do it manual and forget your schedule, switch with the arrows n press “hold”for a second or two

What if I don’t want to set a temperature schedule? I am used to just manually adjusting it to how I feel

Such a pos thermostat. Always stuck on 80 temp. No changes what so ever. Just want the ac on for the summer, and for it to work on heat throughout the winter.

Hate this pos thermostat. Been living in this house for 4 months and can’t figure it out. Finally found this video and went through the steps.. still don’t hear the AC running. I’m dying in here, 86 degrees and I’m sweating naked! Haba

Thank you for the video, I just moved to a new apartment that doesn't use a modern touch screen smart thermostat and it is super confusing to use, I had to search ways to use this thing, and your video help a lot!

I am a very firm believer in set it and forget it. Changing the temp up and down really uses more energy as it takes along time to get the house back up to temp once you run it down.

Thank you. We just got a house with one of these and we'll be using the hold button. Great video.

Gotta wonder if anyone tests these things for intuitiveness of the interface before they go to market. Probably not.

How could this piece of junk be installed in a house and nobody knows how to use it or where the manual is....the previous owner died most likely from heat exposure or frostbite.

Thanks for the help. I definitely wasn’t going to program each day. But that hold button is a pretty good idea to override the whole system.
The way my apartment came programmed with this in the ac is way too cold and draws way too much power and energy monthly. This will be helpful.

These comments made me laugh till my stomach hurt. Thank you all, at least now I know I'm not alone or mentally challenged. This thermostat sucks.
