"Money can't buy you happiness but it can help you find it" is a good quote to keep in mind.

To be a construction manager, the best place to start is studying Civil Engineering. A lot of Civil Engineers work their way up to management roles such as project management or construction management throughout their experience as Civil Engineers

I totally agree with your initial thought about money and passion, it's fine to follow your passion but one has always to have in mind that money is necessary to have a good quality of life. Also I was surprised with some of the careers on the list, and I thought there will appear more medical related careers. Awesome video!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾😊

An old saying from a Greek or Roman philosopher once said:
"When you find what you love to do, and it meets a need in society, that is your profession."

I have worked as: a golf teaching professional, a piano teacher, a Bible teacher, also a Certified Professional Security a few

I prefer to work for myself .
I have taken a few jobs in retail, but that tires me out too much. I am working on a Masters in Theological Studies so I could qualify as an Adjunct need more money to finish that degree.

Great job with this video!!!!

Miss Monique 🙂 🌷 🙏 🕊️

I think the Orthopedic surgeon is the happiest job ever because my dad is a orthopedic surgeon and we travel 2 or 3 countries for year. He paid nearly 600k -500k USD also and every Saturdays and Sundays we play games, watch movies, go to dinner out, shopping with him .he nearly work 40 -50 hours per week . he helps me to my homework and play games with me.he end his work at 3pm or 4pm .MY mom is a business woman and earn so much than daddy but she always in stressful moments and she work over 49 hours (nearly 58)because of that I wanna be a Orthopedic surgeon one day like dad.my mom has so much time to spend with me but her job is a stressful job .

I'm glad you both acknowledge the importance of a sufficient income and that whatever job pays the most isn't always the best choice for the individual. My thoughts on teacher certification are if a person has a strong passion for that, the essential traits to do the job, and a willingness to live modestly, I'd say go for it. Living modestly is like being destitute or having to depend on friends or relatives for provision. Since a high percentage of one's waking hours are spent working for a living, I think it's important to find occupation that one doesn't despise. However, I realize some people have passions in fields that are hard to make a living in. One option is getting a double major: one in the field one has a passion for and the other in a second choice that they can be reasonably comfortable in. One may also work on their passion on the side with the possibility of eventually making a business out of their hobby. Whatever anybody does, one needs to try to avoid getting trapped in a job one totally despises because that works against one's overall happiness too much.

You mentioned Assistant Controller. I have a close friend who is always working 18 hour days and that includes weekends. No time to enjoy life.
