Great show! On the Roth vs traditional IRA savings question, it seems to me that taken to the extreme (all Roth, no pretax savings) would mean the person saving failed to optimize fully. There is always some amount of pretax money that could be withdrawn in retirement without taxation (due to exemptions, one time IRA to HSA conversion, etc.). If all I have is Roth money, I've already paid tax that did not need to be paid, at least for some of the dollars.
