That's pretty insane. Also consider that in a keirin race he probably was already going at 500-600 watts for 30-40 seconds before hitting the 2k. That's what hobby cyclists don't get in a road sprint too. They say I can hit 1500 watts too if they are a fit rider but they do that accelerating from 20 kph while being completely fresh.

If you want to simulate a road or keirin sprint go like 1 minute at 500 watts ( to simulate the energy you exert for riding at 65 kph behind your lead out) and then try to sprint at max power for 15 seconds. You won't come close to the watts that you reach from 20 kph while being completely fresh.
