I Bought 'Fake' Retro & NEW 24/25 Football Shirts Off... *Not DH GATE*

Ahh Football Shirts 😬 We love collecting them but new & official jerseys are becoming more & more EXPENSIVE. With authentic versions costing a WHOPPING £110 for the 24/25 season, people are turning to sites like DH Gate for cheaper versions. Now... I don't condone the buying of fake football shirts but I am curious as to how close they're getting, visually, to the real thing. This got me thinking 👉🏽 is it just DH Gate who're mastering the art of fakery or are there other sites out there offering a similar thing 🤔 In this "experiement" we take a look at 5 examples from a site called "Soccer 03" ...Manchester United new 24/25 Home Shirt + a retro early 90s cult classic - the green and gold MUFC 3rd kit. We also look at the new Dortmund home shirt along with a 95/96 version as well as the 24/25 Bayern Munich home shirt.

I’m not stingy with a lot of things I buy, but I just can’t justify paying £80 a shirt that only lasts 1 season. Brentford are doing it right, keeping the same home shirt for 2 seasons and it costs £60.

I find when I buy jerseys of dhgate I always get the player version “authentic” because both the badges on the front always look better when there “heat pressed” on instead of stitched on and they are always closer to being in the right spot !

Dortmund 1995-96 stood out a mile as a fake. BVB badge wrong, Dortmund on back and sponsor fonts are bolder on the original, colour of the shirt is more fluorescent greenish on the original and not as yellow as the fake also the original has the pattern in the material where as the fake is plain. Still got my original that I bought back then. Love it. Only bought it in first place as I'm a SWFC fan and the Blades in the 90s had a great away kit that was the same colour. Couldn't buy their shirt, saw the Dortmund one and got that.

If Man United went back to Umbro and Sharpe I would purchase their shirt even though I’m Leicester City fan .

I kinda like the new United top. I'm not sure on the club badge for the goalie one but big fan of the sponsor. I think the away kit (that and the 3rd are already on soccer 03) are nice.

Found this quite interesting. The fakes are getting so good now, I don’t blame people for saving the pennies, especially if you have children that love the shirts too

Most of these “fake” shirts are coming out of the same factories as the shirts that hit the fan shop. Difference is there is no middle man (the team) marking up prices so they can sell them at much more reasonable prices. There are some really shady online shops (ie some sellers on DH gate) that do a shady job and you can tell it’s fake but, Ive received several shirts from other sites and you could not tell the difference at all between the online shop in china I ordered from and the actual team shop shirt sitting side by side.

The new United top could pass for a Liverpool top. If that had a Liver bird instead of a United badge it would look better. And I mean that because theres no black on there that would differentiate it being a United top

The variety of textures in the kislux pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.

Great video! Here in India, football's popularity has steadily been rising and a lot of people have started buying their favourite club's shirts. Most of them are "fakes", since the originals cost too much. Many people cannot afford them. In their defence, the cost of simply making a fake shirt is probably the same as that of an original shirt. Original shirts cost so much more because of sponsors, taxes, dealers cut, etc. I've always gone with the fact that the "fakes" are more like factory rejects; at least the player versions because it's impossible to find a difference between them and the originals.

I got a 24/25 Liverpool shirt from Club Retros for about half of what the club were asking. It looks pretty good and is comparable with the official hone and away shirts I got from my club Cambridge United last season. Have to say I'm lucky that my bumpage is fairly modest or the shirt would be a bit on the tight side

The only fake one I had was the green and yellow utd kit. I sold all my tops on eBay a few years back. Most I got for one was £75 for the 99 Utd home gk top.

All my fake shirts have names and numbers on the back and I have yet to have any issue with washing them in the machine
