Hi! This si my first time seeing your videos. And I'm asking myself why the hell didn't I click on that view button earlier?!? It would have saved me from all the hardships that I went through!!
Have u made any video on Rolling friction?

I really appreciate the time and effort you give to the production of all of your videos. I wish you were my physics teacher. I have a question about the values of the coefficient of friction. My professor said that the value of coefficient of friction was between 0 and 1, 0 being frictionless and 1 being the highest value which is if two things are attached and not separtable. So is she correct?

Thank you again for the videos.

mu depend on the surface contact between two materials. So it means that mu can be vary according to specific materials in contact.
My question is, is it. possible we can measure the mu of the road high way? what is the spec or the mu used? because different tire has different mu level when in contacts, while the road should be the same

Does friction come into action only when force is applied or even when it is at rest?

Could you explain what is meant by two bodies slip when the coefficient of static friction exceeds its maximum? When it says "slip" does it mean when the two bodies are starting to slide against each other, or does it mean when one body is about to reach the tipping point and falls off the other body?

Okay so what would happen if we were searching for the Force of Friction in collisions and we are not given the coefficient of friction (μ). For example, the problem I am working on looks like this: "A 1200-kilogram car moving at 12 meters per second collides with a 2300-kilogram car that is waiting at rest at a traffic light. After the collision, the cars lock together and slide. Eventually, the combined cars are brought to rest by a force of kinetic friction as the rubber tires slide across the dry, level asphalt road surface. Calculate the magnitude of the frictional force that brings the locked-together cars to rest." The equation for friction force is Ff= μFn. I was able to calculate the normal force but I cannot figure out how to get the coefficient of friction ( μ).

I would have assumed that glass on glass would have a very low coefficient of friction, why is it so high compared to other materials?
