This Asteroid used to have a 2.7*chance of hitting earth. It was discovered in 2004 and recent studies have ruled out the chance of it hitting us. We’re all good!

guys this was right at first but it’s actually wrong because scientists said that their calculations were wrong at apophis won’t accually hit earth it is a close call and it’s also closer than most of the satellites

For people who don't know: In 2029 an asteroid named 99942 Apophis that has a radius of 606.96 and a mass of 26.99 billion kg's will nearly hit Earth but it also has a probability up to 2.7% to hit Earth on April 13th, 2029. That may not seem like a lot but if it hit Earth it has a result of human extinction. So let's hope it doesn't hit Earth on April 13th, 2029

For people who dont know:
In 2029 ( now said as 2032 ) an asteroid called Apophis will be 10 times closer to the earth then the moon and it will hit the earth but there was a 2% chance of this happening(now 0.03% chance)

If this asteroid does hit the Earth, the rotation of the Earth causes Oceania or Australasia to take the impact of the asteroid. I pray for everyone in Australasia if they get the predictions wrong.
