Before i was the type of men that didnt like to see Romances/ Drama movies, only cause i had way to many sad moments in my life so i kept away from it, but now as i am older i learn it ok to let it out and it ok for a grow men to cry and show his emotions . I got (multiple)cancer in 2014 maybe, but l don't realize that.l've got check up in 2015. Oh my gosh!!! I had started watching & fell asleep. By chance, today, this movie popped up again. I had forgotten that I started watching before. Almost tuned out thinking it was too sappy - glad I finished watching. Perfect timing on a dreary rainy day.
OH boy, DID I cry & cry & cry. I lost my only child a couple years ago. He was someone who 'lived' every dang minute of his 30yrs here on earth too. Just yesterday, someone much younger, who knew my son, yet did not know he had passed away, shared with me some beautiful sentiments about the kind, compassionate & funny guy my son was. It was so touching to hear & for that young man to shar. My son was easy-going, smart, witty, as well as strong & also stubborn, yet all those traits made him so loved & missed. He would have been one to buy a paoer from George too. He cared as deeply as he is missed. At a wedding of one of his best friends, the groomsmen, most of whom were casket bearers, cried over a couple shots for their buddy. It was so touching to see so many almost grown men paying tribute to my boy. Thankfully, I have two awesome grands to carry on his legacy. Definitely the answer IS LOVE! ❤❤❤

I have a grand daughter who is hearing impaired...but I think her mother is not curtailing or stunting her growth like in this movie...I love this movie, when finally the girl fought for her right as a qualified adult, releasing herself from her controlling

A beautiful plot. Delves with the ordinary scenes often taken for granted, and ordinary characters who could be invisible to the eyes, such as the newspaperman, the waiter, the drum beater, and so on. Yet in the grand scheme of the ordinary things exist love, and one finds that powerful love when one listens to the heart. I like the foreshadowing of what is to come from the very beginning. The friendship and kindness, the music, the trials, even the illness, all incorporated into the story of young love.

I can relate with Danny. I lost my son to a brain tumor on the 14 September 2022. I can see still his smile and his courage since July 2019 during all his chemo and the nausea afterwards. Good bye son.
