Their ancestors settled there in the late 1800s. Very different times. They probably couldn't get used to the humidity levels, mosquitoes and their diseases, flooding rains, etc... You don't get a lot of that in Northern Europe. Nietzsche himself thought it was a stupid idea, so he never went

Paraguayans come in last place and my wife is paraguayan and my children are 50% paraguayan and we have the best judgement but we came to a jungle without any medicine or doctors. Yep, this one is a sharp one alright!

Him saying that the germans have the best judgment while the background is a simple overview of how their plan was a failure is just pure gold.

"Germans are the best." Yet you don't live in Germany and you look like a farmer in a 3rd world country...

In South America there were 3 main types of German immigrants:
- German-Brazilians: immigrants before Nazism.
- German-Argentines: immigrants during and after Nazism.
- German-Paraguayans: descendants of Germans from Brazil and Argentina, but also from new settlements after the war.

Remember that there are Nazis among the Germans who came to Paraguay, and those who speak like that are descendants of those escaped Nazis, that's why they have that sub mentality.

OMG these translation are horrible and bias. They twisted some of the translations.
3:17.. He actually states "compared to the rest of the world, Germans always go into something with a mentality of reaching 1st place.'
Let's take a look at the NYtimes translation in itself and then re-translate it into Spanish.

ENG SUBS(NY TIMES) : Germans always come in first place in the world, because of their minds

SP (Translation of NY times translation): Debido a sus mentes(cerebros), Alemanes siempre llegan en primer lugar en todo el mundo.
WHAT HE ACTUALY SAID: Los Alemans simpre salen por la cabeza en primer lugar del mundo

ACTUAL ENG TRANSTLATION: Germans always come with a mentality of reaching 1st place, compared to the rest of the world"
3:33 "They say that, Germans have the most Analytical(Good Judgement) people and then the koreans, japanese".

The other quote too, the one that goes' according to the experts Germans are.. Paraguyans come in last. '

I don't get that one.

Because he actually says '... Y paraguayos estan en la ultima generation.
'

I'm not sure why NY times said ' Parguayns come in Last place. '

Now i'm not sure if Spaniards or Parguyans have this expression' ultima generation.'.
But the German translation is ' Der Letzen Generation' which means the last generation..
It's almost like he's saying ' Parguayns are still living in the last generation. '
LOL, Paraguyans are still on PS3 while the Germans and Japanese and Koreans are on PS5(PC modded tf up). I'm kdding about the last part ..

But you see how loose the interpretation was lost out of convenience for the NY TIMES.It's obvious that the NY times loosely translated this to make him sound as supremec**st .
As a Mexican of Oto Pamean/Mixtec descent I call BS on this narrative.

This man is by no means a ra*ist.
I know one when I see one.
If you want to see what a real White(Iberian) Supremaci**t.
Go to POLANCO, Condessa and colonia ROMA districts of Mexico City preaching their Iberian Supremac* to the native people of Mexico.

This man is just frustratrted with his fellow country men.
In Mexico you see Mexicans bash their own country men for lagging ; and praising countries other people like Japanese, French and German.. ' Why can't we be more like them, they have the lowest crime rates, high test scores etc...'.

He probably got scr** over by the Uruguayn govt just as the other natives. That's probably why he feels disenfranchised.

"Germans have the best judgment", yet he insults his wife, children and all Paraguayans in front of a media organization with global reach. He's lucky the locals haven't skewered him yet.
