SLS RS-25 Engine Test, 11 October 2018
Показать описание
On 11 October 2018, at 19:51 UTC (14:51 CDT, 15:51 EDT), NASA conducted a new hotfire test of an Aerojet Rocketdyne RS-25 rocket engine on the A-1 Test Stand at the John C. Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. The hotfire test lasted 500 seconds and was another certification of an RS-25 flight controller that helps the engine communicate with the SLS rocket. NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS), the most powerful rocket ever built, will be powered by four RS-25 engines firing simultaneously.
