I remember this game like it was yesterday and I have never watched a game where there was so much tension and let's be brutally honest, Hatred between two teams, the French were convinced that they would win and this England team was full of bloody minded characters who said that you won't, I know one thing there were some serious rugby players on both sides and they gave everything they had, there have been better games but nothing matches the electric atmosphere of that afternoon, it was primeval.

They can be very lucky sa wasnt alow in that 1st sa had won 5 nz 2, ausies 1 and enland 1 and if nz ref didn exit sa in nz 2011 it would probably nz 1 and sa 6....😉
