Charles Piutau was and still is a beast.of a player; urgent, physical, skilled

Most 'violent' certainly not...mostly hard but fair tackles which is exactly how the ABs and Samoans play their rugby

Just got to love the physicality from the islanders. Highly respected in S Africa. I've heard them be called a bunch of coconuts before but they simply genetically designed for playing rugby.

Jeezus, they made carter look very average and they were within reach of a famous victory the whole match.
Outstanding from Samoa

Excellent tackles throughout. Hard, fair, sometimes on the limit, but never dirty.

Love to see the game as it is meant to be played.

I'd say the Samoa vs. Aussie game from around this time was right up there too. Was just brutal. I think Rod Davies got smashed by Tuilagi multiple times.

That was my first ever rugby game I had ever attended. Great game, great energy.

Definitely not 'Most violent' .... just hard as nails and passionate ruggers. We're about to go into 2023 and the IRB still hasn't done much to help the islanders, shocking. Much love Samoa.

They contained Tuilagi pretty well if you ask me.

Also, aren’t half the AB’s usually islanders anyway 😂

AB's let both Carter and McCaw play in this. That was brave of them.

Now the disparity is clear between these unions with lots of money (All blacks, ABs) versus small nations (Samoa, and pacific nations) that just play with pride, passion and heart in their own home soil!

This was the first game vs the All blacks held in Samoa.

With the ABs having lots of class players yet Samoa showed when given a chance to host them, (and having their own stars to play) showed that they can match it with any big rugby nation.

Need more tests like these in the islands, as well as allowing our tier one stars that have been dropped to play for their heritage without any issues or stand down periods.

But then again it's about the commercial viability (money) for the big unions.

weirdest parts were seeing a tier one team actually go to play in samoa, that and seeing samoa hold their own against the all blacks, hope more of this comes back soon.

The ABs were well composed and disciplined throughout the game
