The PAPI lights of Runway 17 of LPPR has a 2.7 degree slope. Aircraft as CRJ-1000 usually operate on the S2 or S3 ramp, which is the taxi C or D, the one he missed is F, which makes him taxi a lot longer then getting on via C or D, fuel saving by using the energy that the aircraft still has from landing...

look at the PAPI lights, two whites two reds.. perfect profile and the touchdown was in the TDZ.. they were in perfect profile.. :))

I think it's just the zoomed in camera that made it look as if the plane was closer than it really was and therefore coming in higher. Watch for the lights, 2 white 2 red.

he didnt missed the taxi... he say C the last one on the left... they did it correctly. and the Cam is mounted on the top of the windsheeld not on dashboard. :D so gives you a very diferente perspective

Admittedly, I'm not a pilot and may be completely off base here but they seemed to be coming in high and then missed the taxiway. The video was good, though and the vantage point of the camera is exactly where I personally like to see them. Just my 2 cents.

lol it's people like you that make me angry, the lights on the side of the runway were 2 white 2 red indicating a perfect glide path...
