I am not a writer, nor ever thought of wanting to make movies or write screen plays. But last night I had a dream that was a movie in itself. I can't get it out of my head and feel the compulsion to turn it into a screenplay. Even before watching this I had my two liner, opening, middle and end. But I want to write this correctly, which led me to searching...how to write a screenplay. And here we go. Looking for to watching your video's.

Nice video! One thing, on story treatment, I write the story as if it was a storytale.

I start with "Once upon a time" to introduce the main character/s, place and other stuff from the story you want to write (like main character's context: if they have a brother or sister, a bff or bf/gf/partner, what they do for living, etc); "One day" to introduce the conflict, introduces the antagonist and their goal/s; "Then (1)" for plot point 1. The plot points are the twist of the story where each story takes a 90° turn; "But then (2)" for plot point 2; "Finally" to write the result and climax of the story. I sometimes add a "Meanwhile" in between the two plot points, but that depends on the structure of your story.

I find this method extremely helpful and can sum up any screenplay into three pages or so.

OK so I’m new to this whole thing however my entire life movies have raised me again like everyone else I spent my entire life watching TV and movies I’m inspired to create great works of art with a video camera I really enjoyed your video I’m in the process of writing a script/screenplay for my first featured film. I’m not sure if you would be interested but I’m looking to put together a team you may also have something else you’re working on as well but I would love some insight dig more into detail about the process. I have great and wonderful ideas in my head the problem I’ve always had as a kid was putting words to paper I’m not great at spelling punctuation or any of that however I can get the main idea on paper of a scene any information and tips would be much appreciated I know everybody wants to be YouTube and TickTock famous but I just wanna produce my story and continue to do so
