I wish there was a way to give this 2 thumbs up. We were instructed to meditate and talk about the word throughout the day: when we rise up, when we walk down the way, when we are about to lay down... This was great. Thank you both ❤

God's Word IS powerful!
We get familiar with His voice from knowing His Word!
He always stays true to His own Word. He doesn't change His mind or waffle on topics. Truth stands the test of time. We can count on it. That is very, very good!!
Thanks ladies😊

I've been memorizing with Dwell for four years. It's such a practical way to actually memorize the word, and think about it like we wish we would.

Wow! I’ve been a Christian for around fifty-four years, and have struggled with memorizing scripture. I know that our spiritual battles start in our heads with that negative talk you mentioned. As a woman, my thoughts, (especially at night) start to surface. Before I know it I’m in full blown despair with this over analyzing of my bad thoughts, hurts, or, as my pastor says “listening to old tapes.” And that’s exactly why Satan is called the accuser. But scripture is the weapon Jesus always fought the enemy with! Thank you for such a practical way to memorize scripture so that when the battle comes…and it will…I am ready! So glad I tuned in today!🙌🏻💕

This!!! What a beautiful visit with you! I love the Bible! The verses I memorized as a young person are there easy to access in my brain. I am 66 and am doggedly memorizing ps 103. I set it aside then pick it up again! It is important to me.

I got some great tips out of this thank you. The tattoos and colours/designs didnt appeal to me but the ideas do. Also habit stacking... that works! And I can remember one line and immediately wrote down The Lord is Near... I love that!

I so enjoyed this interview. I loved when discussing the “why “ of scripture memory — because Gods word says to! So convicting and that it truly is a spiritual discipline to develop

It has been a long time since I memorized new scriptures. As a kid, I memorized full books of the Bible, and some of them I still know, as well as many many passages (I went to a Christian school most of my childhood). My church does weekly and monthly memory verses and usually they are ones I already know, but I really should start to learn ones I don't know. It is definitely harder to memorize compared to how easily I did it in the past. I used to make up songs to help me memorize things, and I still remember many of those songs!!
