This theme has no right to go as hard as it does. It reminds me of 90's sci fi but modernized and I love it so much for that. Also at 00:33 imagine how epic it would be to have this theme play as we drop into orbit.

I am absolutely loving the fact HD2 is just cultivating such a fan base and as a HD1 veteran, it warms this patriots heart to have so much new recruits in joining in the battle for our home!

*POV:* 0:00 The theme that plays when you and your team are on the last mission to effectively push the Automaton force out of the galaxy. Where all other previous Helldiver teams have fallen on the last planet held by Automaton. Your team has managed to activate the chain link of ICMBs leaving all that's left being extraction. Naturally, this being the last planet under enemy control there's only one life, one drop per Helldiver, a difficulty passing Helldive difficulty... call it *HELLDIVE II* difficulty, if everyone fails the Automatons will regain control and conquer back its liberated planets one by one.
1:16 However your team managed to complete all objectives, the ICBMs are now linked across the planet, leaving one last objective being that at least one must extract with a valuable piece of data extracted from the last Automaton super base that will fully push them out of the galaxy if not eradicate them for good. Yet your team isn't planning of leaving each other behind, you all made this difference *together* and no one will become a memory.
