"Je connais son adresse. je sais où il habite."
"Je sais qui chante, je connais le chanteur."
"Je connais quelqu'un qui nage. Je sais qu'il nage."

This is not true. "Je sais le nom du professeur" would be correct. "Le nom" is a noun. You use savoir here because you know this fact. To say "je connais le nom du prof" would signify you are familiar with that name, as in you have heard the name "Bob" before.

Don’t forget that you can say je sais Mariah Carey mais je ne le connais pas bien
