Speedrunning Mario Odyssey at 1% movement speed

We modded Super Mario Odyssey so that Mario Moves as ridiculously and incredibly slow. Being the speedrunner I am I had to try speedrunning the game with this mod, enjoy the video!

The animations being fast was an amazing idea. Also, love the content where we can hear you from the VOD as opposed to just hearing you narrate!

I think the reason that Mario moves slower downhill than uphill is because he falls slowly. When you go uphill, your feet always touch the ground, but when going downhill, you keep losing momentum by constantly going from on the ground to in the air. That's my theory, anyway, im no expert.

When you wondered why he runs at different speed going down the slope it gave me immediate flashbacks to pannenkoen2012s explanation from SM64.... "This is what we call mario's de facto speed"
