I would think that since humans have been around for approximately half a million years and with the way the temperatures had been in the past, like the younger dryas was just over -50 degrees regularly of course we would have to live underground and the whole world would have tunnel systems, which it does. Im sorry but we didnt have things like North Face to wear in extreme freezing temperatures so obviously we wouldn't be running around on the surface because we'd freeze to death. Studies show its a constant 60ish degrees underground no matter what outside is like.
