The size of the universe and whether it is finite or not depends on what we can observe. If there are parts of the universe we cannot, perhaps can never observe, then...who knows?

Anybody who read Mysteries in Space back in the Silver Age 60s knows that the proper name for Proxima B is Rann.

I like my hitchhikers guide to the galaxy references. There's a restaurant at the end of the universe.

I finally figured out how your shirt relates to the video it’s a video about the universe and you’ve got Guardians of the Galaxy on your shirt. It’s taken way to long to get one😂

In the portion of "All Sunlike Stars Have Twins" you stated that astronomers' figures made the most sense when all sunlike stars were born as wide binaries of "500 Astronomical Units, about 93, 000, 000 miles apart". Actually, this figure is way off as ONE astronomical unit is equal to the mean distance the Earth is from the Sun, which is 93, 000, 000. 500 of these AUs would be 46.5 BILLION miles apart.

@list25 Look at the name of book 2 of 'The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy' is called 'The Restaurant at the End of the Universe' so that is what is at the edge of the Universe not a guy with a stop sign.

1. Uranus. My favorite planet since I was a little kid. I always thought it was so cool that it rotates on it's side. The mystery of this planet also has an alure. This was even before I knew how amazing it's name is. FYI, if you say it the losery way, you make it sound like its made of pee! Stop it! Say it right!
2. Saturn. Not because of the rings though. They are cool, but the hexagonal polar cyclone is crazy. It also has my favorite moon, Titan.
3. Neptune. I like the colour. That along with the mystery of it. Triton is also quite interesting.
4. Venus. When I was young, I would always imagine what it must have been like before it transformed into its current state. I still do.
5. Mars. A desert planet that you can imagine briefly living on, even if it is just to die in short order. What's not to love?
6. Mercury. What is it? The core of a destroyed planet? Underappreciated and so many mysteries to explore.
7. Jupiter. A fantastic planet to be sure, but I'm far more fascinated by the Jovian moon system!
8. Planet X. Doesn't exist, but what 5 year old doesn't think with wonder when presented with its prospective existence. Suppose we would need a new Planet Nine now that Pluto is slightly better classified. Finish the job and rename it the Pluto Charon double dwarf planet.

# 17, the phrase "supersonic" was used, there is no sound in space, a vacuum.

what if we created a extreme amount of weight in front of a craft. falling thru the fabric of time and at the same time creating a bend or a "droop" in space fabric with a short distance between.

Would it be possible for a list on ghostbusters for the upcoming movie?

Mate! (I'm from Australia). 500 AU between 2 unlike stars, born as binaries is 500x93million miles. Which is an astounding 4.5 billion miles. But that is close in space. I love your shows and have watched you for years. Keep it up. You're a great personality. But a lousy mathematician. Lol. Cheers 'big fella'.

At the end of the universe is M. Night Shyamalan telling someone about how they don’t go in there and people don’t exit. It exists the actually modern time, which is billions of years in the future. We’re all part of one big movie called “The Universe”.

I'm still kinda partial to Earth, with Mars as the next most-important planet. Jupiter might be a fun pace to visit, as would be Saturn. The Moon has been convenient, as a non-planet place.
