The concept of an ADV scooter is really cool since you can be comfortable and adventurous at the same time. The purist ADV riders may not agree with this but for beginner ADV riders and those who just want to chill while eating dust will greatly benefit from the twist-and-go riding. But I have 3 concerns about this XP. They are, price, weight, and parts. It is not a question of weather an ADV bike will wreck because it will and it's rather a question of when and how expensive to repair. Considering that I already paid more than half a million pesos, I will probably be very picky about the rides that I will be willing to make (to protect the bike), but that defeats the purpose of buying an ADV bike. If parts will be readily available and affordable then yeah, this XP400 can be a little weekend warrior on trails but then again it's not little. It's hefty. 231kgs? Was France thinking of making a "tank"? Are the fairings made of galvanized steel sheets? That weight is going to throw-off new and beginner riders not to mention the seat height. Then as I mentioned, in the back of your head, "kalahating milyon, kalahating milyon, shit wag ka matutumba, wag ka matutumba"..."okay, wag na tayo mag-ride, kalahating milyon". This made me think of the Kymco 400cc scooters and maybe you can change their tires to STRs and then fiddle with suspension tuning but then again, Kymco does not want to bite the dust yet. Then we have the Honda XADV but oh, okay, it's 800, 000 thousand pesos...Maybe one day we can see a 400cc ADV scooter, just shy of 200kgs, a nudge under 400K and with confidence in parts and affordable maintenance, thus rendering a delightful twist-and-go machine ready to push itself in and out of ruts and be happy about it. For now, the idea of a scooter ADV is just for show for me. No GO.

OK, just looked at prices where I live, since people compare it to the Honda... Honda 350 is 7, 3k, Honda 750 is 14, 7k (!!!), Peugeot is 8, 5k. For what it offers I'd get the Peugeot, much more capable off road and a bit stronger than the Honda 350, close in price. The Honda 750 is ridiculously expensive, for that amount I can buy a motorcycle for the weekend and a scooter for the city and still have money left...

Hand protector has to be plastic, so in a real crash your hand won’t smash and stuck by metal… it’s supposed to protect from things like branches and so…

Great looking scooter but unfortunately not available in the USA just like the Honda ADV, such a bummer, I’d be happy with either of these, having said this, I do love my Vespa GT 300

You could do light off roading on any scooter as long as your caraful and don't use anymore power than you have to to get uou to and from where your going.off road be extremely careful.their not mx ful off road only.

This looks like the bmw 400 and the kymco 550 . Is this just something peugeot has rebadged ? Does kymco make this bike?

It should be good on rougher roads with it's F17" R15" wheels and ADV suspension, none of its competitors can match those specs.

I don't like scooters. I don't like adventure motorcycles. HOWEVER, I'd buy this in a heartbeat! It is the perfect mix of scooter and motorcycle, on road and off road, big and small, city daily commute and weekend trip, can go over bumps and climb sidewalks as well. Only think I'd wish is for it to be lighter, but hey, nobody is perfect! And for more space under the seat as well, but then this amazing suspension would have to go, so no...
