I'm not trying to be mean, but why would Congress get a holiday break if this is not resolved as of yet. Perhaps that would put a little fire under their butts to be a little more motivated to get this resolved and passed. My elderly mother is worried and scared. This should never be the case for any American, especially our seniors and military folks serving!

Our biggest problem is the pentagon. They have had over 20 trillion dollars unaccounted for over the last 20 years. That's approximately 2/3rd of the national debt.

How about stoping waist full spending, balance the budget and NOT raising the debt ceiling? The DOD still can’t even account for over 60% of their spending and has never been audited. Cut salaries of those politicians who approve of raising the debt ceiling and I’ll bet they change their tune!

When banks send us email flyers, etc, to deposit money, we do it, and we receive .0003% interest they then take our money and lend it to whoever needs a loan at of course a high interest rate; know hear this in reverse when we ask banks for a credit card, we get charged 18% to 30% interest. Why are we letting this happen.
We need to do something about this. It's unfair.

You mean that when I don’t pay my bills and my credit is maxed out that lenders don’t automatically just increase my debt limit? That’s outrageous! 😂
