Seriously, I don't know why this wrench is forgotten by everyone. The only downsides it have is construction speed boost penalty and -20% metal from every source, which barely exist. You can do something else while buildings are extracting, and you have easy access to spawn with infinite metal. And while you in spawnroom you can fastly switch to jag and upgrade all buildings fast in slightly more that 1 minute during setup time.

Spy is not engineer's main enemy, spy is considered an enemy because of having a tool that is directly built to attack buildings, but this is simply doesn't make him engineer's worst enemy, this title goes to demo who not only has the tools to completely destroy a nest but also has the offensive capabilities to consistently kill off the engineer then a buggy backstab system

Spy is pretty easy to combat while demo is basically a death watch for engineer, soldier is also a soft counter for engineer with his rockets.

This guide overall is bypassing and isn't really the best, it's recommended to play yourself and gain experience

Side tips if you ever want to make another tutorial

Your nest is a spot to protect your team, the sentry can stop lighter pushes and deal with people trying to flank, the dispenser can heal and be a spot for teammates to regroup at and is a good consistent alternative for a team that lacks a medic, and the teleporter is great for helping support the team with relocation and getting to the front line
