Oh yeah, one thing to point out, before charizard mega evolves it has the fire-flying typing, so that means if mega charizard-X switches in to stealth rocks without mega evolving first, it still takes out half its health in one hit

I honestly think Mega Charizard X was just pure fanservice.
People like Charizard? Give it two megas!
People like its black shiny? Make it black!
People like blue fire? Give it blue fire!
(And most importantly)
People think Charizard should be a dragon type even though a dragon type starter is a stupidly unbalanced idea? Make it dragon type!

Mega Charizard Y makes much more sense as a mega charizard. If any starter is dragon type. then it's instantly the best because it resists the other two, thereby making it completely unfair. Its flying type also makes sense, unlike in Gyarados. Gyarados deserves the dragon type MUCH more than Charizard, especially since it's supposed to be a reward for players who completed the agonising task of getting a Magikarp to Lv20.

Originally I was all about the X version. Dragon/fire is great. But over time I realize a hard hitting special attacker with drought and solar beam can be awesome too. Just have to be careful of pokemon that resist fire and grass, like dragon and fire types.

If X had Y’s stat distribution but reversed (Sp. Atk and Atk stats switch, Sp. Def and Def stats switch) I think it would be rlly op in OU

I like x better in design but I like using y because it is better in main stories having ability being drought so you can use solar beam or fireblast stab drought so its better
