Frightening to consider that the Backrooms is now trying to make its own music...

what really baffles me about this concept and the backrooms, is the fact that Ravi had NOTHING to do with this. this isn't a punishment. this isn't atonement. this is bad luck. ivan's work affects thousands of people who go missing every year, falling to the backrooms forever. and as we got to see kane, madison and ravi's stories, there are thousands more that either were lost to time or never even documented. it's wild to think that your entire life can melt away in a moment if you find yourself in the wrong place at the wrong time. THAT to me is what makes the backrooms truly horrific; anybody could be next.

Might be the most chilling song ever heard in whole Backrooms series

I love how Kane envisions the backrooms. So creepy and intimidating yet so blissful and calm. It’s like the ruins of something perfect

imagine ravi is the guy screaming "help" in one of the first backrooms videos with the red street

very spooky, almost as if the backroom did its hardest to make its own music. there's no sense of rhythm, no sense of direction, tone, or progression at all. it's just stuck on the same notes, with a bassline that wobbles incoherently. i absolutely love it. this could easily be the backroom's theme.

edit because it's the internet: I was simply describing ambient music in the context of the backrooms, but ambient music is also defined (you may look it up) as having no typical structure, melody, or progression as a traditional 4/4 ABA song. I have composed my own ambient music and I listen to ambient music every day (even having this one on loop). I am not dissing or saying ambient music is bad in any form or shape.

Found footage 3 feels so distant from the others. The rest of the series take place near the complex entrance or at least have the familiar yellow walls. This one feels like he "noclipped" far far from the main complex, like thousands of miles away.

This is like one of those tunes you make up in your head, Get obsessed with making for like 10 minutes and then completely forget about it.

this music really added so much to the ambience... it's like trying to be comforting but only making things worst.

... Here we experience the first signs of memory loss. This stage is most like a beautiful daydream.
The glory of old age and recollection. The last of the great days...

poor Ravi dude, he was so close to seeing another person in the backrooms even if it was in the other reality (our world) and spent his last moments on recording missing his friends

The image of the two cavemen statues fading in and out as the video plays are the cavemen statues seen around the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk in California, which is the same state Async is based in. Also, in Found Footage 3, Ravi finds a cardboard cutout of a caveman while wandering through the backrooms. I’m not sure what the significance of cavemen is in the series, but it’s interesting to think what this could mean. I also live in Santa Cruz and have been going to the boardwalk since I was little, so it’s cool to see this.

I really hope Ravi is doing good, the ending was tragic

this feels like the backrooms, (or whatever the heck it is) is trying to understand things, and now it's going to music as well. that's really the best way i can describe this, without going too into detail.

Everybody else is saying this is spooky, but I find it oddly comforting and relaxing. It’s a very beautiful piece of music.

Hearing my man’s last sentence as “I just wanna go home…” while this played in the background was so depressing.

Edit: it wasn’t his last, my mistake

If you strip away the exaggerated concepts of levels or entities and focus on the Backrooms at its core, it’s truly nightmarish. One moment, you could be living your life regularly. Then in the next, you find yourself desperately wandering this nonsensical reality of liminal spaces for hours or even days with little chance of escape let alone human contact. Meanwhile, your loved ones are likely losing their minds trying to figure out where you are, but the harsh reality is they probably have no idea of your true whereabouts, nor could they even comprehend the unfortunate circumstances that have befallen you.

I can’t explain in my words how both terrifying, nostalgic, beautiful, sad, this sounds.

What’s really interesting with how the back rooms is personified as if it’s almost a real person or thing with thoughts, trying to appeal to us humans but failing.
