They say everything’s bigger in Texas - and that’s certainly the case for the newest cruise ship in town, Carnival Cruise Line's Carnival Jubilee!

As the sister-ship to Carnival Celebration and Mardi Gras, the glamorous Carnival Jubilee made her eagerly-anticipated debut in December 2023. She is the third cruise ship to be built in Carnival’s ground-breaking Excel Class.

While there are many things to love about this cutting-edge cruise ship, not everything was a slam-dunk for me during my fun-filled spring break cruise on Carnival Jubilee. Here are 14 things that I loved and hated about Carnival Jubilee.

Girllll you went during Spring Break. You knew the crowd was coming lol

I saw later in the vid that you didn't realize you went during Spring Break. That is a tough break but glad you still had a great time.

Some people would gripe if their ice cream was too cold.
This chick is no exception 😂😂😂
It’s nice that she found plenty of positive things to rave about. 👍👍
We almost never had to wait in line for Java Blue because we get our butts out of bed pretty early 🤣🤣🤣

Use Carnival transportation. No problem getting to airport. Galveston our favorite port and find it much easier than Miami.

If you are like us and not a fan of the younger crowd (I’m old), don’t go during spring break or summer. Winter months and early fall is the best times, the waters at the ports are still warm and beautiful to swim or relax.

Beautiful ship! Hate too strong wording…perhaps pros & cons

I am glad that I have already cruised on the Jubilee and have 2 more cruises scheduled on her this year. I think my husband and I only experienced a long line 1 time at Beach Buns. Not a big issue for us we just chatted with other guest in line.

No shade, but it sounds like you could have fixed your own problems with travel time and spring break crowds. I don't see how either of those has anything to do with any particular ship.

I appreciate your video and agree about those windows and that the Lido buffet is weak.

I will now always refer to it as "Pigs guy and anchor bbq" lol . Thanks for the video, super informative!

Thank you for an excellent video. Cove Balcony, I have never heard of that and now I love it.

Agree about the center stage layout. On the Mardi Gras you have there at least 30 minutes before the shows.

Here is the thing about Galveston. It is the closest driving distance cruise terminal for those of us who live in the Midwest. That is why the flight issue isn’t a problem. I’ve driven to New Orleans for a cruise too, but there are far fewer cruises sailing from there.

On our cruise on the Mardi Gras< we had the cove balcony and mother had interior room... The interior room was always much cooler! I think in general, the interior rooms stay cooler, maybe because no windows with natural heat/sun getting in

Your hates are like the most commons “hates” on all cruise lines lol

Not everybody comes from Houston. I come from Louisiana and never have issues.

We were on the inaugural sailing and you were spot on with the jubilee.

I cruised the Celebration last May. The buffet was extremely underwhelming, I strongly agree with you. Some of the restaurants you mentioned were very good, especially the Steak house. The shows and comedy shows were very good. I'm cruising the Mardi Gras in July, hope their buffet is better. Fingers crossed.
