Tokina looks sharper than 10-22 which is also very good. I think I'm gonna opt for Tokina too. Thank you!

My video footage looks like 2:27. How do I get the softness and colour of before 2:27?

I have a canon 10-18mm which has great image stabilization but I miss the aperture that the Tokina lens could be. Can you make a image stabilization comparison between both cameras?

What are the little lights you have attached to the camera at 1:50?

I don't love the wide angle look, but I love the wide angle result, which is capturing more of the scene.

For everyone watching in 2016, another great wide angle lens option for youtube is the relatively new Canon EF-S 10-18mm STM lens. It also has image stabilization which is an awesome bonus !! It's an all round great lens for the money.

Hi there. have you ever tried to do an infinite white background with this lens? I have just got the Tokina as a present and would like to try with a apple style background but I am worried about the lighting setup and if there will be enough room?

How do you go about setting the focus since it's not auto focus? I this lens! Way different than what I'd usually go for - I try to avoid wide lenses - but this one is extremely flattering when placed at that slightly above angle! The wide lens almost makes it look like it's still at eye level and while there's distortion (of course) I love the effect! Have to look into this and see if it'll work well with my Sony a5100 (a small bodied crop sensor mirrorless camera). Great point about having to be further away from the mic with some lenses - I find that happens when I try to use my portrait lens, and then I'm so far away from the camera I can't really see if I'm looking good while recording haha! LOVE THIS!

If I have indoor controllable lighting, basically LED spotlights x 3 and 2 x panels, can I survive the high aperture of the canon wide angle lenses.
