Finally a 3D platformer as inventive and mechanically strong as a Mario 3D plarformer. The original demo was great, but having years to build upon the ideas seems to be well worth it.

If you want Sony to have a future that's not just movie games and flops like Concord, PLEASE buy Astro Bot, it's excellent and DESERVES the recognition it deserves. Astro Bot is the last bastion of Japan Studio through Team ASOBI and many of the remnants from the PS1/PS2 days.

You guys have no idea how happy all these reviews are making me I'm seeing 5 out of 5 and 10 out of 10 and it just makes me so damn happy because I have not felt so warm and fuzzy playing a game since the N64 and PS1 days. But Astros playroom gave me that feeling and ever since then I've hoped and hoped that we would get another one and I am so glad that it is so good

Currently on world 3 and my favorite level so far is the one where Astro shrinks and grows because it uses the mechanic seamlessly and because of that a skilled player can skip sections of platforming by changing sizes mid jump

I don't mind the 10ish hour run time, cause I played astros playroom 3 or 4 times through with my son. We loved it a bunch and can't wait to pick this up tomorrow.
