Fly Boy Episode 5 (Greg Hamerton visits the Isle of Wight)!

A special episode as we had Greg Hamerton from 'Fly with Greg' visiting us for the weekend (he was on holiday with his family). And he came out to fly Brighstone Down with us. So my mission was to "Fly with Greg" for real on this day - which thankfully I did, at last!

Great video, really enjoyed it. I'm curious though and I don't really expect an answer considering I'm commenting on a video that you posted about a year and a half ago but maybe someone could tell me why coastal flight would not be considered as Cross Country? Is this something peculiar to paragliding regulations? As a career Helicopter Pilot, I know that there is no prohibition on logging a coastal flight as cross country for general purposes So can you clarify what was meant here? Thanks.
