Destiny is a touchy subject. I feel like he had to have wanted it in some capacity, with or without Demise's influence. Sorta like Anakin Skywalker. He was trained in the light side of the force almost his whole life but still chose the Dark.

If they make another Zelda game (which we all know they will at some point) they need to have an evil faction that worships Ganon create some magical ritual that would drag Ganondorf's personality back to the surface, maybe even reaching into the past and copying Demise's mind onto Ganon's. Ganon/Malice are cool as Force of Nature villains, but that'd get old mighty quick in my opinion, where as either Ganondorf or Demise would make for much more dynamic villains.

I saw your analysis on Walter White and found this series. I love how thorough and detailed you are! I especially loved the bit about Wind Waker's Ganondorf and his difference in behavior compared to the other games. Wind Waker was definitely my favorite game growing up but you helped me find a new appreciation for Ganondorf. I used to beat that game and read his dialogue like "yeah yeah whatever and just die" but now I actually feel something for him. Maybe he DID just want the wind to bring something other than death.... Thank you, Vile! ♥

I would love to see a game in an alternate reality, one where Ganondorf made the right choices and chose to be a more benevolent king of thieves. He could certainly still be arrogant, but to see him actually not be conquered by his demons and instead try to help Link and Zelda stop something other than himself would be quite the sight. I also think he deserves a break from being the big bad, no one is all bad.

It's great to see my favorite antagonist of all time covered so I'm depth like this, and his eventual return in Breath of the Wild's sequel as a husk of his original gerudo form excited me even more, there's so many different ways I would love to see this character explored since he has so much potential to be even greater than he is now, but thank you for doing this character such great justice with this deep look into his character.

Out of all of the incarnations of Ganon. Ganondorf and Malice are my favorites out of them all.

Me personally if the curse of Demise wasn't in Ganondorf's life but everything else was he would be a less evil version of what he already is as Ganondorf. Similar to a combination of Lord Shen and Tai Lung from Kung Fu Panda, a man who suffered throughout his youth who believed that the world owed him something in return and as a result still desires power and vengeance but not on as much of a scale as we see him in.

I loved the Gannondorf series, I always see his story as the will of the universe telling us that there needs to be balance, there will always be evil out there and good will develop to stop that evil.
They can’t exist without the other, good and bad.

You should do Mathias Cronquist next, only Castlevania fans will understand that name.

I would like to see other Nintendo villains, such as Bowser, K. Rool, Ridley, Andross, Giovanni, Giygas, etc.
