Fantastic video ! Abraham Lincoln is my all- time favorite President - so much so that I drove 12 hours solo from Pennsylvania in June 2019 to Springfield, Illinois, to visit all of the Lincoln sites. This video brings back such happy memories of my visit there, especially since I was diagnosed with breast cancer shortly thereafter. 2020 was full of not only Covid isolation but was a year of surgeries and chemotherapy and radiation treatments, but I’m so happy I went to Springfield when I did . Am feeling much better this year
and am hoping to return to Springfield again in 2022, God willing ! Thanks for the wonderful video !

Hey Bud, , , another cool Americas Parks clip! Last year, on the day we drove from El Paso to Texarkana in 1 day, Kaylie read out loud to us an entire book on Lincoln. It sure helped with driving across the entire state! She also enjoyed this clip as she is a huge history buff. Really enjoyed the walk down memory lane also. Looking forward to seeing more as always! Doing a trip for the day with some friends from work to Joshua Tree on Monday. Everyone wants to be in my videos now! How cool is that! Take care!

Interesting to hear about you growing up in the area. We love visiting Lincoln’s home. Using the same hand rail as President Lincoln was my favorite part. The triple outhouse still impresses me!! The tomb is always a surreal place to visit.

I was actually born in Chicago but moved when I was like 5. I feel like its the best food city on the planet though. I've always wanted to visit Springfield to see Lincoln's home and burial site. I do really appreciate the tour of the town.

I live bout an hour north of Springfield, and have never visited Lincoln's home. I do remember taking a field trip in elementary to Lincoln's New Salem State Historic Site.
