The best stand-up in the world. Billy is one of those people who sees the world in more detail than most of us. It's no surprise that he's a writer, musician and artist as well. All these disciplines at their zenith rely on seeing the world with an eye most of us don't have. And Billy has the additional talent of being able to dissect the world he sees and present it to us in it's raw ridiculousness. Always original and fresh. Comparable only to legends like the late Richard Prior.

back in the early 1990's i used to do lock up shift at the Melbourne Concert Hall (renamed Hammer Hall later), i met Mr Connelly several times, a lovely bloke who i would invite to a BBQ or meal at my home anytime.
there was an older gentleman wandering around backstage one night during the show, who i knew was part of Billy's entourage, i asked what Billy's wife was doing nowadays, his face lit up with a huge grin and i knew it was Pamela's father, so he gave me the run down on her studying psychology, a very proud father.
