Are all 60363 engines a Hemi? This one is and was bought Feb 2015, came to store Dec 2014, was built in August 2014 by Loncin Industries in Chongqing China. This unit has a die cast valve cover, I believe the non hemi variants do not.

Only main issue with the hemi head is you cant put bigger valves in...but the valve cover polishes up super nice

3:30, the hemi's governed rpm is 3600, and the non-hemi is governed at 3800. the other way to tell is look up the part number on the box

Hey you don’t have to peek through the box...it shows if it’s a hemi or non hemi right on the packaging if you look at the valve covers...

The Hemi variant caught my attention. I was in Harbor Freight yesterday. I don't know which version number they had on display. I did notice your engine block is different than the one I saw in store. Under the gas tank on the store model, there are two machined bosses with threaded holes, vertically to the base which allows mounting external components. In my case it will allow bolting the push handlebar bracket on my edger. The old motor was a B&S and it used a head bolt for this. Your block does not have the extra mounting holes. So in my case, I may not worry about the Hemi head because I need the block mounting feature. Some FYI info. for potential engine buyers.

I understand that all the 70 MM bore carries a 1mm ring thickness and one carries or uses the 1.5 MM so make sure you get the right piston rings as some are 70 and some are 71 mm. I do not hear anyone talking about the piston rings but i hear all kinds of comments on everything else and the most important part is the ring.

We race these on racing karts. The 363s are all hemi's. On the dyno the hemi makes more power. If you buy a 730 make sure you have them to open the box and check the stamp on the bottom of the head. You have to turn it up so you can look under/behind the valve cover. You wan't It to say RTC-6 or 8. they have bigger valves that the other 730s. The other number that I don't even know lol is for California admissions. We build them over 15hp. Great motor for the money!

Put the 730 top end on hemi bottom end. A cam, carb, header and better springs from Dover Powersports. Bump timing to 35-36 degrees with a better flywheel and you have a bas ass motor.

Yes, #30363's are all hemis they all have the cast rectangular valve covers. The non-hemis have a different # (sorry can't remember what it is) and have a stamped steel valve cover that is roughly square. BTW they are made in 2 different factories in China and are basically the same in every other aspect. The hemis are able to have more power than the non-hemis with the proper upgrades, somewhere around 20-21 HP. and around 8000 rpm as opposed to the original 3800 rpm. Make sure to get a billet flywheel as the original will explode at these rpm's and can cause significant damage or injury.

I just got the HF 3200/4000 Predator Generator Lot# 69676 dated 30 July 2015....I believe this has the Hemi Engine - Loncin Motor Co LTD. 210FA. I have not opened it yet.

The new Display Generator in HF with that Lot # on the Easy Start Tag had the cast aluminum valve cover. The Display had just been swapped out from the month before because it had different engine and the man. date was in 2013.

I believe (in my opinion) this appears to be better designed engine and performs than the other (Lifan Chongqing Rato Power Co ). The quality is the other question which needs to be tested. Chinese quality has improved over the years but in areas where there is a lot to be desired still. The question is will it last and will parts be more readily available? The Lifan Engine appears to be a "Clonda" and so a lot of the parts are interchangeable with Honda and the parts itself are more available. So there is a lot to be said and that is still a good engine for the price

Thanks for you happen to know if they are using the Predator Hemi 212cc engine on the 3200/4000 Predator Generator?   The (old) display generator at my local HB had the old engine (non Hemi).   I could not tell what engine is used in the new box generators.  They all appeared to be lot 69729.  From what people have told me, the Hemi stock engine is better than the non Hemi stock. They also advise, once you start modifying the engine the benefits are minimized. What are your thoughts?  Thanks.

I have a 60363 that has the die cast valve cover like yours.

I think both motors are probably the same, can’t really see a small single cylinder motor being better than the non Hemi motor

Which one do you think it’s better for a pressure washer the HEMI or the non, ,,on the 420cc motor
