If buttermilk isn't something you regularly use, keeping powdered buttermilk on hand is a great option.

I think social media is destroying society in general. But every once in awhile you stumble on a gem like Becky. Keep being a bright light, Becky. Happy New Year to you, Josh, and Toddler Acre.

That convenient deep drawer where you keep your flour and sugar is great!

Becky needs to get much more attention. Her love, care and experience dedicated towards her art/craft/trade has a passion that is intoxicating to watch. I love to watch her brain work while she talks to herself. She needs to blow up! Her semi-crunchy-mom energy is perfect.

I was simply amazed how fast you were with lil to no mess. My kitchen would have been stacked with dishes and a mess everywhere lol

My elderly mother is in the hospital dealing with a lot of issues right now. Watching your videos lately has been a big help to me. It gives me break from being in my own head and sadness. Ty for giving me that. ❤

I’m your mother’s age, but it feels like I know you, friends in the kitchen and garden. Much love in the new year, Jeanne

I have a pet peeve about cleaning all the batter out of the bowl and I appreciate that you are so great at using every spoonful.

So many things going on at once and you never drop the ball. Wow. You're going to age gracefully with that much mental, cognitive and physical ability.
Not to mention that everything looks amazing. I am at awe.

To make a quick buttermilk without vinegar/lemon juice just mix a couple tablespoons of plain yogurt or sour cream. It thickens quite nicely and has a better flavor. I learned this from another channel.

Just finished making and having your baked oatmeal and yesterday your fabulous beef burritos (made 18 and froze 16). You are such a beautiful role model for the youth of today❤️❤️💕

I love Becky, she is such a beautiful soul with wonderful ideas, since I have watched Becky, I am now cooking all my meals for work in advance and saving money and also using some of my garden vegetables, so thank you Becky for being so inspiring. Love from us from London :-)

A little sausage patty tip. You can leave the sausage in the packaging and keep it partially frozen. With a sharp knife, slice off rounds as thick as you would like with the package still on. Peel the paper off and you have a round sausage patty. And it keeps you from having to form the patties yourself. Hope that helps! Happy new year!

Hi there ! Little tip from a French fan : In France, we cal French toasts "pain perdu", which means "lost bread" and it's because we use the bread that's a bit dry and wouldn't be eaten anyways.. Which means when we soak it, it REALLY absorbs the custard because it's so much drier. And so you can either use dry leftover bread, or toast the bread before soaking it. And because it absorbs so much more custard, it literally melts in your mouth after you cook it ! :)
Thank you for your amazing videos, they're really inspiring !

My name is Beckey too.
It is so refreshing to see the younger generations getting into canning and prepping.
I love doing my prep work in the wee hours of the mornings when I'm all alone with no interruptions.

Fun tip: Applesauce is a 1:1 replacement for oil, so if your recipe calls for half a cup of oil, use half a cup of applesauce instead. In your carrot recipe I’d use 3/4 cup oil and 3/4 cup applesauce. Or if a recipe calls for 1/2 cups butter or oil I’d just use a 1/2 cup of applesauce. :)

I Love how you show the steps to everything, and also give advise on other variations. Also you clean as you go and use alot of the same bowls and pans for multiple dishes in one go..You are so smart and cleaver, thank you..❤❤

Those breads looked so good. Whenever I bake breads like that, I fill one pan, then add nuts to the reaming dough. That way I always have one of each kind of bread with nuts and one without.
