This is a great video and very thorough. For Surface users, I stumbled on a possible very easy alternate fix for the problem with Office which is addressed in this video. Unrelated to my problems with Office, my Surface one morning would not turn on/boot up. The fix for this was to 1) press and hold simultaneously the Volume Up key (on left side top) and the power button for at least 15 seconds.2) release both buttons 3) wait 15 seconds more 4) turn on the Surface as usual. This process got my Surface to turn on normally but I soon discovered that this process ALSO fixed the Office problem which affected Word, Excel etc as described in the video. This fix for the Surface reminded me of the old " control/alt/delete" step used on pc's.

Got this error the other day. Tried EVERY option. Error on repair, error on uninstall. Used SARA to scrub office from PC and it could not.be reinstalled due to the error. Reset windows and got the same. Did a clean install of windows and still the same errors. At my wits end!
