Important topic for sure, Islamic law is in a way timeless and moves forward in my opinion.
The values remain the same, culture and tests change. In Islam there is endless room for forgiveness and seeking harmony. As Allah laws are balanced, Islam teaches balance as well.

Mansha'Allah Alhamdulilaah for Islam, and I just wanted to say JIZAAKALAAH for trying and explaining about, our Islamic law!
But, we Muslims 8f we even want to change the Islamic law, and search every Religion's law, or Man made law, we couldn't find anything that is better than Islamic law, because, if you look at it in everywhere, all the law that exists it doesn't matter either man made or some non-Muslims Religions law,
To be honest we can't find any other law that is all over the World, we couldn't find any law that is more equality to all Humans Beings, or even the animals or the planet. Allah SWT talk about all the things that Allah SWT created, and all those things that were made by Allah SWT including Humans the best way to live is to follow Islamic law, bcs, Islamic law is the best law that is fair and peace and respect women's rights reserved for your parents, how long your children is your responsibility, and even how your neighbors can have rights, and if you treat even your slaves badly in Islamic law, you will pay, and in Islamic law is the best law for all of us.
