NASA/Boeing- They're not "Stranded."
They simply can't leave. For six weeks.
Sounds like a "Mostly safe launch" to me!

Suddenly, ‘stuck’ assumes a whole new meaning

You know SpaceX will have to rescue them. If they come back on Boeing then they’ll burn.

Boeing can barely keep a plane in the air yet someone had the bright idea to go into space 😂

"Enjoying their extra time in space." The woman says with a crocket smile. Being stuck in a mini van for weeks, eating powdered food sounds like a great time. 🤔🤫🤫

Not just a thruster fail but the leaks are part of that same system and the biggest leak is equal to a random thruster. Without a working thruster system and the leak stopped both they are unable to safely control the deorbit or the angle required. Also the part that is broke is not designed for service in space or testing. Also it was to be left to burn on reentry to clear the heat shield making test on the ground to prevent mishaps on any future missions because the parts needed will be destroyed. There is even footage of the craft blowing out a door on the ground during a transport operation, not unlike the 737 door plug fails. SpaceX just had two flights canceled because the payloads are not ready but the rocket is, it is time for Boeing to swallow their pride and hire Elon to save their crew. In the late 90's a heat shield fabric was developed that could be sent up to wrap the control module with and bring it back on remote with the module split delayed or over ridden so something is left to study. For that matter Elon might do a test of the cargo version of Starship to recover the craft in a cargo bay, flight by remote for the pickup. If it does a successful pickup and delivery for Boeing then Boeing could run a full range of test to fix the program and Elon would show that SpaceX can handle being the backup for the other companies as they play catchup with Gemini and Apollo clones.

They're going to be so weak when they get back on the surface.

lol...the funniest sheet is how NASA/Boeing gaslight people that these two "enjoy every minute of it" - how long will they keep them there till they're forced to beg Elon for a rescue? another month?

Thats what happens when they use AC Delco parts instead of
Genuine PRC Parts on the
International Space station.

Stuck in a studio somewhere is the correct title

Blame China or Russia, or even Iran. That might work.

That’s a welcome relief the astronauts aren’t doomed like it sounded like at first.😅
