You know, I really want to eat my words when I say that DJI is getting out of the consumer drone business. I want so badly to be proven that I am wrong, even though I think I am right. The price has now climbed to the point to where I question if it's worth actually spending the big money to buy a Mavic 2 Pro or Zoom. Perhaps some tutorials on the Part 107 exam would be good, as it could help some of us in recuperating some of the cost of owning one of these fine pieces of equipment when we end up buying at the top of the market. Thanks for the video!

Great video as usual Bill. Especially for beginners. Thankfully us slightly more experienced flyers know the drill. One thing to point out to new people(I know you have mentioned this before), is to never charge the LIPO batteries overnight. Also for charging time, after the initial charge we usually never get the batteries down past 25% or 20%. So even though it’s still pretty long the charging time could be slightly less after flights. 👍🏻

Good tutorial. I am getting absent minded as I get older and have forgot twice to remove gimbal cover before powering up. Luckily no damage. I took my label maker and made a small reminder that I stuck on each battery right above the power button. Now I see the reminder as I am looking to put my finger on it in case I forgot. I would imagine that as one flies a lot they would get into a setup routine and everything will become second nature.

Hi Bill, I am on vacation in Italy right now ...but I have a sad news , I lost my Mavic 2 pro in the sea 2 days ago ..its a long story... ....I am so sad.... its my fault ... I didn't train properly for my vacation, blame DJI for coming out with the new Mavic2 pro so late this year.... What should I do now ? wait for another 2 years or go back to DJI store and buy a new Drone again ?? :((((

Great beginners quick start guide Bill! The quick start video can be used for all DJI drones, not just the Mavic 2’s. The only item that not related to the other drones is the onboard video memory for the Air & Mavic 2’s. Nice job, this well be a very help video for all new DJI drone owner and even a good refresher! I like the variety of your recent videos. I haven't been flying my Zoom much. The weather hasn't been great in Ottawa Canada, especially with the two tornadoes that touched down. It decimated a small town about 20 minutes from my house. Thank God it didn't hit my neighbourhood. Luckily we only had to deal with high winds and rain and a 27 hr power outage.

Quick point. There will be a plug and wire in the side of your controller. That will need to be removed before your USB plug on the bottom will work. at 4:48.
