I know since October it has been very busy in the western pacific, but if you look at the entire basin through all of 2020 the overall data may surprise you.

A lot of people are still having a hard time after Vamco / Ulysses in the Philippines. A viewer here "Bruce" asked for me to share this Go Fune Me. I know a lot of you have been asking ask well so if you want me to share a link please let me know.

I consider myself pluviophile, I don't know, I just find joy during rainy days but I think we had enough of it. Thanks for sharing this Robert! As always, I love the energy! Stay safe! ☺️☺️☺️

2018 was the best season,
All Activities in WPAC was completely active.
6 Category 5 Storms
Southwest Monsoon was absolutely active.
Much more rainfall

And i have a question, Is Post-La Nina season was good for WPAC?

Ulysses and Rolly took out the power in my area for 6 days, each.

Hopefully the next typhoon season will be even more calm and below average.

One of the reasons for this inacvtive typhoon season is La Nina, which is why the Atlantic is extremely active as it is now, the Pacific SSTs are cooler than normal in the EPAC, though im not sure at the WPAC in this case

I'm not neglecting the fact that people were devastated and some even died due to this typhoon. Indeed the average for this year is quite low compared to other years. This era's Philippine problems are just hyped up by the media and other politicians just to make issue against the government. They want to give an impression to the public that the government has done nothing. Have they forgotten the typhoons under previous government? If they would like to have government tge same as before, I think people would be less prepared. Since politicians before care only for certain area where they won votes and only support those area. Other area that oppose are neglected and their lives aren't a priority during typhoon due to political reasons.
