How to Set up a Speedcube (My Method)

In this video I explain how I like to set up most of my cubes.
Also, if your cube has a spring noise coming from the springs, then feel free to lube the springs by taking the center caps off, unscrewing the screw all the way, lubing all the contact points between the washer, spring and screw. And then put it back together.

Really great video Charlie! As someone who has been using this very method of setting up cubes for years, I can confirm it is absolutely amazing! The only slight difference I sometimes do is by using silk as well for fast cubes to give it a slightly more plush feel.

This is a great setup tutorial, and the lube is different than J perm use!
I lube my cube with a GAN lube.

I don't really like dignitas.. maybe just cos it's messy and sticky? Just not really sure of how it's going to affect the..I still use it though lol
